Rooted in Varanasi, Uttar PradeshIndia is home to some of the world’s most extraordinary textile and craft traditions. Weavers, embroiderers, printers and jewellers have passed their skills down for generations — yet many of them still struggle to reach the people who would treasure their work.
EthnicHaat is based in Varanasi, a city whose looms have woven Banarasi silk for centuries. Surrounded by that living craft, our aim is simple: build a marketplace that puts the maker first, and bring more of India's handmade beauty to the wider world.
Today, EthnicHaat brings together authentic ethnic fashion and handcrafted creations from across India — each piece chosen for its craft, its quality and the story it carries.
